WHO ARE WE ?

Simple citizens with multiple competencies constitute this association.  Its goal is to gather all those who are concerned with the future of next generations and to react specifically to the problem of the climate change.

This association was created following discussions about the green house effects and the global warning during the year of 2004. Two ideas have been governed in this enterprise :

1. First of all with what we discovered, it is not possible to stay inactive and to wait passively that States and industrials find a solution to this problem or not
   
   
2. Also, the wish to mobilize locally with the strength and simplicity of the proximity and everyday life, even though we could have estimated that there was enough active associations in this field. Our association is not in competition with the important NOG, it completes and prolongs them.

WHY AN ASSOCIATION ?

• A Report of the GIEC from 2001, placed UN, concluded on their majority that the green house phenomenon because of the human activity put in danger the balance of the planet.
  
  
• It is now scientifically proven that if radical measures were put in place rapidly around the world, extreme climatic phenomenon (storms, dryness, threatens on biodiversity etc.), even irreversible change which could put in danger lives on the planet.
  
  
• Public actions on the national and international level are clearly insufficient.  It has become more and more obvious that the awareness and mobilization of most of us is necessary to take up with the climate change and to build an acceptable future for our children.
  

OUR GOALS

• In the current context, to accelerate the awareness of people about the phenomenon of the global warming.  To explain the stakes to learn how to react and to acquire good reflexes.
  
  
• To contribute to the adoption of solution to encourage a real reflection about energetic politics mainly on four subjects: transportation, buildings, consuming of manufactured products and agriculture.

Consumers, deciders, road users, company managers, parents…  we all are actors of our lives and future lives.  If, like us, you feel that you have the devoir to act, do not hesitate to join us.

All of the ideas are welcome.  By both making efforts and modifying our behaviors deeply, we will make our economical, social and ecological future acceptable

"GREEN HOUSE EFFECT So what ?! ” it is to take up a challenge with the climate change

       The influence of human activity on the climate change has been proven.  The diagnosis of the association is based among other things on the works of the GIEC.  In 2001, this scientific authorities concluded that a phenomenon of the climate change caused by the human activity was putting in danger the balance of the planet.  It has been estimated that in 2100, the temperature could be raised of 1 to 6 degrees Celsius.  If no radical measure has been solidarity taken at the beginning of this century, irreversible climatic phenomenon will put in danger life on this planet.  Consumer, politicians, road users, managers of companies, parents… we are all actors of our lives and future lives.  If like us, you feel that you have the duty to act, do not hesitate to join us.

OBJECT : it is to take up a challenge with the climate change.

• I] To accelerate the awareness of the problem
  
  
  • a) General information.  To spread the information and make people understand the very big danger of the green house effects for the humanity.
    
    
  • b) To evaluate the changes in consuming and organizing which are needed to avoid the danger of the climate change
    
    
  • c) To make known the necessary changes.
    
    
• II] To contribute to the adoption of these solutions
  The consumption of energies, which are responsible for the greenhouse gas emission, should be discouraged with all legal means until it has reached a level which preserves the balance of the planet and the people.
  
  
  • a) To speak with the main local responsible politicians to ask them that :
    
    
    • At the European level, the consumption of energies which are responsible for the climate change should be limited and brought back to an acceptable level.
      
      
    • To anticipate the consequences of this limitation, in particular in the transportation field, but also at the social and economical level in general..
      
      
  • b) To arouse the adoption of performing energetic solutions, with the public, companies, collectivities and public enterprises.  It is understood that the consuming of energy is done directly (ex: transportation, heating) or indirectly (purchase of manufactured products, food choices, impacts of infrastructures…) the principle of exemplarity will be put forward.
    
    
  [ c) To encourage to the reduction of consuming of energy which are strongly emitting gas of green house effect until a level of reference estimated neutral for the climate. ]

  Nota bene : these actions and goals should in no circumstances be used to substitute or serve any political causes, religious movements or sects.

ARTICLE 4 - MEANS OF ACTION
The means of action are :

• Organization of colloquies, debate conferences, exhibitions, to inform the public and politicians.  Interventions in private clubs… to organize small meetings with individuals.

• Of information documents

• Meeting with elected representatives.  Any occasion: public meetings, ‘permanencies’
  
  
• Organization of information campaign, using of publicity supports.
  
  
• Relations with medias
  
  
• Action with companies and public institutions.  To encourage all the actors who make an inventory in terms of greenhouse gas emission (ex: assessment on carbon-ADEME, ecological print-WWF etc.).  To encourage the taking of initiatives on the green house effect by proposing labeled eco-products.
  
  
• To develop a website
  
  
• To develop a partnership in particular with the installation of an information and experience network
  
  
• To redact a call to the public institutions in associating the personalities.Institutional recognition: the association will ask for an official recognition from the public institutions.  This formality is to obtain the statute of the association for the protection of the environment and the statute of public utility association
